TIME Does Softly, Sweetly Glide...and Story TIME

I painted this giant clock above our entertainment center, I'm pretty happy with how it turned out, I got quite a few compliments from people who came to Aiden's blessing luncheon...I was worried that people would make jokes about how big it is as if we're blind or have problems with telling time. Anyway, I guess ya'll can be the judge. Martha Stewart said it would make it so I would never be late again...we'll see how that goes =)

We also went downtown to story time at the Fort Worth City Library with Kathy, Emma, and Spencer. It really was so fun. I can't believe we've lived here for over two years and we're just now enjoying this. Mya LOVES reading stories so she had a really good time. They have sit down story time then a craft, then Kathy and I let the kids go to the play area where there were puppets for a puppet show, puzzles, blocks, and comfy chairs to sit and read books till your heart's content. We'll definitely be back next week.

I heard ALL about the clock and how fantastic it was! Sandy raved all about it and said I MUST do one myself. I have to admit, it would be the only clock I wouldn't have to worry about falling off the wall and breaking Grandpa's cars!

You know after we left the luncheon (because Spencer was super tired) I thought, "I wonder what Holly painted with that over head projector?" I had forgotten to ask you. Well I love it. Where did you get the middle part?

We had fun at story time too.
Next week pumpkin patch then we will be back to story time! Yeah!

Oviously, being a library director and doing preschool storytime for years, I'm thrilled that you took Mya. Do ya'll not have a library in Saginaw? I think you do. Anyway, it's a great way to spend time. We also read 3 or 4 stories, do a related craft and have snacks. It's a fun hour.

Hey girl. Looks like you had fun at the library! We do have sroty time at the Saginaw library. It is fun also. I believe it is Wed from 10-11. Debbie, the lady who leads it, is great with the kids! Fun times! What day is story time there? Maybe Witkamp girls could join you some time?!
I LOVE your clock!!! I think you should write/paint that title above it!! There is not too much phrases in your house. It is cute! You are great at things like that! Man, you could make a lot of $$ doing this for others!
